While at Gary Con, I had the privilege of playing an OD&D version of Rappan Athuk dungeon mastered by none other than Skeeter Green. As I watched my fellow adventurers be devoured by the dungeon of graves, I learned that Frog God Games had a Kickstarter to launch Rappan Athuk for D&D 5e. As a fan of Rappan Athuk since the early days of 3e I jumped right in! Last night the email I have been waiting for arrived! Rappan Athuk is shipping soon and I will be receiving a beautiful hard back copy of the dungeon of graves!

Running an evil campaign can be so much fun if its done right. I have done it in the past with great success but this time has been a lights out good time! I always have to laugh when get the “evil campaigns don’t work” lecture from other DM’s. There is a way of running the story and keeping the players on task without the party imploding but it takes extra planning. I will get into my strategies in the next blog post. Right now I have contractors working on the house so I have to run!
Happy Gaming All!!
